So we have lift off!

Just a short note to say, I have officially started and I have called this the, Plaza Cash Challenge. So I have played an handful of hands thus far. It’s still only been a couple of days and I’ve been rough with my chronic back pain which really restricts my ability to play any poker. I do not know why or how I’m so bad, but it is really painful. But like I said, I have played some poker, but I’m guessing about 50/60 hands. Playing on a iPad limits the number of tables I can play and this is going to be a conflict for quite some time to come. Whilst I am still learning in BPC, I do not see the point in playing up to10 tables. Yes, when I know it all and it flows without thought, but not when I’m struggling and particularly during a downswing which I am definitely not use to. I have started on the €4 tables and the play is a good standard. Nothing like when I attempted the first challenge way back in 2006. The play then was awful at best. So I will have to work for this challenge. ...

An so we begin another and possibly last poker cash challenge.

I was struggling with life in general and losing my daughter the year before aged just 31 ripped the life out of me. So I wanted to do something to occupy my mind and so I decided a poker training site. I chose BPC because they have what’s termed a CFP (Cash For Profit), in other words, they train you but take a cut of your profits up to what the contract is worth. In my case it’s for €5000. If you do not win in any month, you do not pay, simples. So it’s in their best interests to make sure you learn correctly. I had never played 6 max cash games before, so this is what I signed up to learn. I knew how to play 6 max, it’s just I never bothe...
