So we have lift off!

Just a short note to say, I have officially started and I have called this the, Plaza Cash Challenge.

So I have played an handful of hands thus far. It’s still only been a couple of days and I’ve been rough with my chronic back pain which really restricts my ability to play any poker. I do not know why or how I’m so bad, but it is really painful.

But like I said, I have played some poker, but I’m guessing about 50/60 hands. Playing on a iPad limits the number of tables I can play and this is going to be a conflict for quite some time to come. Whilst I am still learning in BPC, I do not see the point in playing up to10 tables. Yes, when I know it all and it flows without thought, but not when I’m struggling and particularly during a downswing which I am definitely not use to.

I have started on the €4 tables and the play is a good standard. Nothing like when I attempted the first challenge way back in 2006. The play then was awful at best. So I will have to work for this challenge. I just wish this bloody back would settle down which would then enable me to play in comfort.

I will finish with a exact figure and this will be the first update. I’m hoping to play a lot more over the weekend especially with it being a Bank holiday weekend. I will still have to juggle some PC poker for BPC, or I face the axe from the Bronze group. The balance as of late 28/08/20 is €13.56 which I think is almost €1 more than the starting balance. That represents about 8% increase in my Bankroll already!

Hopefully more tomorrow or at the end of the Bank holiday.
